A trip to New York booked!!!

Perinteisesti hiihtolomaviikkoni menisivät talviurheilun parissa, mutta tänä vuonna suunnitelmat ovat täysin erilaiset. Eilen on varattu nimittäin New Yorkin lennot ja hotelli Central Parkin kupeesta Manhattanilta. Muutama viikko vielä odottelua ja lentokoneeseen istumaan. Ensimmäistä kertaa Amerikkaan!!

Traditionally I spend my winter holidays doing winter sports at my parents but this year I have completely different plans. Yesterday we booked flights to New York and a hotel next to Central Park in Manhattan. Only a few weeks of waiting and I'm sitting in an airplane. This will be my first time in the USA!!

Tykkään ruutupaidoista ja neuletakeista. Jopa niin paljon, että taidan päivästä toiseen kuljeksia ne päällä välillä värejä vaihdellen. Heikkouteni on aina käyttää niitä muutamaa kivointa juttua vaatekaapista ja jättää muut vaatteet sinne lojumaan.

I like check pattern and knits. I like them so much that I tend to wear them every day. My weakness is to use only a few items from my closet and leave the other clothes waiting.

The Lovely Orange Wedding

Viime vuoden puolella juhlittiin kauniita talvihäitä. Häiden väriteemana oli oranssi, mitä en ollut koskaan aiemmin saanut nähdä. Koristelussa oli myös elementtejä luonnosta, kuten kävyt ruokapöydissä ja kakkujen päällä. Morsian oli muuten leiponut melkein kaiken itse!

Last year I got to witness a beautiful winter wedding. The color of the wedding was orange which I've never seen before. The decorations had elements from nature like the cones on the tables and on the top of the cakes. By the way, the bride had baked nearly everything by herself!
