Never have I been in a such hellish hot place as Death Valley National Park. The desert is the driest, hottest and lowest place in the USA. The temperature was +47 at noon so I made a plan to survive: Drive to the lookout point, walk a couple of steps outside taking pictures, rush back to the car and hope the air conditioning to work at least this part of the trip. This pattern was applied at least on Dante's View.
Badwater. Huh.
Badwater. The hottest place ever. I wanted out of there, immediately. I took a couple of pictures in agony while my runner friend wanted to try jogging in the basin. He admired the Badwater Ultramarathon which is the toughest foot race in the world so he had to do it. Well, still alive. It was so hot that the leather coating on the steering wheel melted on my hands.

The night at the park was quite pleasant as we drove up to Wild Rose Camping. The starry night was unbelievable!
