The City of Angels! I had mixed feelings about Los Angeles - on the other hand there were lots of places to go to, beaches and a laid-back atmosphere in the city, but on the other there were long distances and traffic jams everywhere. Even so, I would travel there again because a lot was left unseen. On this trip I had time to see some beaches, famous sights in Hollywood, luxury apartments in Beverly Hills and great shopping spots in Santa Ana (South Coast Plaza Shopping Center) etc.

Hollywoodissa pakollinen stoppi oli elokuvateatteri TLC Chinese Theatre ja sen edessä olevat betonilaatat, joissa on julkkislegendojen jalan- ja kädenjälkiä.
A must in Hollywood is the TLC Chinese Theatre and its blocks with hand- and footprints of legendary movie stars.
Myös Hollywood Walk of Famelta tuli bongailtua muutamia tähtösiä. Hollywood Boulevardia tuli käveltyä melko pitkät pätkät, joten tähtikuvioita tuli skannailtua jonkin verran. Niitä kun on yli 2000 kappaletta! Kannattaa muuten käydä Hollywoodin Amoeba Recordsissa, jossa on valtava kokoelma vinyylejä jne.
We strolled along Hollywood Boulevard spotting stars from Hollywood Walk of Fame (over 2000 stars!). Amoeba Records is worth a visit - a huge collection of vinyls etc.

LA:n kortteerimme oli Hollywoodin lähellä sijaitseva Village Valley, josta löysimme ihanan airbnb-majoituksen erään taiteilijan ja hänen suloisen Lulu-koiransa luota.
Our LA home was in Valley Village - a nice airbnb home of an artist and his adorable dog Lulu.
